Unfortunately my Z1 tb's seem to let too much air to pass no matter how well adjusted they are. I set up mine up almost exactly as you have described here but can't get my Z to idle under 1100 rpms. No boost/vacuum leaks. When the tb's are at their maximum closed position they still let too much air to pass. I have gotten the Z to idle lower by adjusting them to close even more but then they get stuck shut after any quick blip of the throttle. I believe it is a quality issue that varies between each set as I know there are plenty out there without this issue. I have decided to live with the high idle for now but next time I have the engine out or plenum off I am going to experiment with a file and see if I can't get the valves to close more with out sticking.
